What are the Best DUNU IEMs for Me in 2025?

What are the Best DUNU IEMs for Me in 2025?

DUNU doesn’t get as much attention as popular IEM brands like 64 Audio or Thieaudio, but they’ve emerged as a sleeper pick for some of the best IEMs you can get your hands on. At CanJam NYC this past February, I spent pretty much the entire show helping out at the IEM table. With nearly a hundred IEMs on display—plenty of flagships and major brands showcasing 10-12 different models—there was still almost always a queue of people waiting for the Brain Dance or the SA6 MK2. Everyone was curious, and we had a hard time keeping up with everyone asking to listen.

We carry most of DUNU’s versatile lineup of IEMs, and in this article, we’re going to take a closer look at what makes them special and find out which one might be the best fit for you!

DUNU Titan S2 - $79.00

The Titan S2 comes in at $79, and you get a lot for the price. This set features a single dual-magnetic circuit dynamic driver, delivering a punchy yet smooth and detailed sound with excellent imaging. The discreet, durable metal shell ensures longevity while also looking great. One of the standout features here is the modular cable—something you rarely see at this price point. For just $79, you get both 3.5mm and 4.4mm termination options, a feature that even some flagship IEMs in the thousand-dollar range don’t offer (and honestly, should be an industry standard by now).

For under $100, the Titan S2 is an easy recommendation. Whether you’re new to the hobby or just looking for a fun, budget-friendly beater set, this one should be at the top of your list!

DUNU KIMA 2 - $119.99

Kima 2 features an External Magnet DLC Composite Diaphragm driver system that delivers exceptional detail with a carefully calculated tuning. At just $119, it offers a pristine sound experience that’s hard to match at this price point. This set includes a modular cable system and is ideal for those with smaller ear canals, thanks to its snug fit and compact shell design.

The imaging and separation are clear standouts for me. When listening to one of my favorite reference tracks, Weird Fishes / Arpeggi by Radiohead, I was blown away by how detailed those lush guitar tones sounded and how easily you can shift focus between them. The result is a spacious listening experience, perfect for those who want to hear the true representation of tones and production details that can easily go unnoticed in other IEMs.

DUNU SA6 EST - $499.00

The SA6 EST features six balanced armatures covering the bass, mid-high, and high frequencies, along with two electrostatic drivers that extend the treble well beyond the standard range, delivering airy high-end detail. This set doesn’t boast tons of bass or in-your-face vocals, but instead leans into a more balanced tuning that highlights pristine detail and outstanding instrument imaging.

A standout moment for me with the SA6 EST was listening to Easter by Slaughter Beach, Dog. The thick, intentional acoustic guitar felt warm and full, perfectly paired with an organ patch that sat just behind the mix of lush slide guitars, rich electric piano chords, and reverb-laced synths—all coming together for a truly beautiful listening experience. Vocals naturally sit further back in the mix with this set, allowing the instruments to take center stage. If you're looking to be fully immersed in the production details of your favorite songs, this might be a set worth checking out.

DUNU DK3001 BD Brain Dance - $499.99

Brain Dance is an IEM with one clear goal: immersion. It features a unique driver configuration—1 dynamic driver, 4 balanced armatures, and 4 planar drivers. The result? A seamless, beautifully cohesive sound that feels natural yet packed with ultra-fine detail, completely surrounding you with the music. It turns albums you love into less of a listening session and more of a world you step into.

The imaging and soundstage on the Brain Dance are major standouts. Instrument separation is spot on, making it easy to jump around and focus in on your favorite parts of a song—or even catch something new with every listen. This set especially shines with ethereal records, like Frank Ocean’s 2016 masterpiece Blonde. The pianos and synths are warm and full, while Frank’s vocals sit perfectly centered in the mix. Blonde is one of those records that rewards full attention, with countless layers of production to unpack—and Brain Dance brings that experience to life, revealing new details even if, like me, you’ve already spun it a thousand times.

DUNU SA6 MK2 - $579.00

The SA6 MK2 is an all-balanced armature offering from DUNU with a special twist—a switch on the shell that lets you toggle between two different tunings. That’s right: one IEM, two distinct sound profiles. Talk about bang for your buck! This level of versatility takes what we expect from most IEMs and kicks it up a notch.

With the switch set to “ON,” you get a more powerful bass response that makes the low end sound full and impactful. Flip it to “1,” and you’ll experience enhanced detail and imaging, especially in the upper frequencies. If you’re looking to step into the world of high-end audio and aren’t sure where to start, this could be an awesome entry point. All-BA sets are a big deal in this space—and a personal favorite of mine—so with the SA6 MK2, you’re getting a technically impressive IEM with the flexibility to tailor the sound to your taste or even to the specific track you're listening to.

DUNU Glacier - $1349.00

Rounding off DUNU’s lineup at a hefty $1,349, we have the Glacier. This IEM features a large, beautifully crafted stainless steel shell—fitting for how big and bold this IEM sounds. It’s a tribrid setup with 1 dynamic driver, 4 balanced armatures, and 4 electrostatic drivers, all working together through a 4-way crossover system that ensures each driver delivers the frequencies it’s best suited for.

The Glacier is a low-end-heavy IEM, geared toward listeners who crave thick bass guitars, immersive 808s, and kick drums that really slam. The soundstage is another standout—it feels massive yet natural, giving your music room to breathe while still hitting hard. Everything about this set feels premium, from the design to the tuning. It’s a strong contender in the sub-$1,500 range and a great choice if you’re after a big, energetic sound that still retains clarity and control.
