I purchased this as well as a Hiby R5 for comparison and the R5 is going on eBay. My only complaint about the DX160 is that despite being able to download Google play store I have a few problems with google play stuff and apps. Other than that I think it's the best deal going in mid-priced DAP's. The screen is phenomenal and the sound in quality is similar to the R5 but just a bit different. My priority was functionality on the go which is subjective and the R5 didn't work out.
After much research I opted for the Ibasso DX160 as my first DAP. The sound is fantastic, I use a Grado SR80 as well as a 1More Quad Driver IEM and I’m hearing so much more than I ever imagined. My only quibble so far has been with the Mango player; about once a month the library on my Micro Disk is missing and I have to re-scan it for my music files to show up again.
Nice screen and sound. System is not smooth and the volume wheel feels cheap.
