Eletech Raphael Gold/Copper Cable

Virtues 2023 Series

Building upon its original and wildly popular Virtues portfolio, Eletech continues to showcase technological excellence and creativity flair with their bread & butter entry level yet high performing Virtues project. Discontinued crowd favorites Fortitude and Prudence were holding stars within the long-standing series and showcased the kind of quality that 'Virtues' strives to achieve.

This new generation of releases is no different. Consolidating experience from the team’s craft since 2019, Eletech redesigned the Copper and Silver-Plated Copper from the ground up, and added a Copper and Gold option with a new proven geometry design that’s been developed meticulously over the years and maximizes the purity of conductors through newer manufacturing processes.

Raphael

‘Raphael’ solidifies Eletech’s experience with working with flagship copper and gold materials, configurations and streamlined into a highly performing mix that is housed within the new “Virtues Series”. Raphael offers a highly resolving sound signature with being very organic sounding with a well textured warmth. Augmented by a Kevlar core, the "Raphael" is resilient while ensuring the structural stability of extremely high strand counts.

Bespoke Elegance

Y-Split Housing
Eletech designed Y-Split and termination housings that feature ultra-precise cuts of Seven balanced triangle with extreme attention to detail. Triangles are the most structurally stable and strong geometry, representing strength and balance. Eletech's next generation Y-Split and termination housing design have imbued a patterned geometric triangle within.

Termination Housing
The parts are made of Aluminum Alloy which features seamless structural integrity and rejects magnetic EMF radiation. Both parts are weighted to calculate not only its tensile strength but the ergonomics and aesthetics as well. Eletech’s logo is engraved using high precision apparatus to achieve an extremely deluxe finish.

Connector Housing
Every Eletech cable with the configuration of 2Pin or MMCX is sported with a bespoke-designed Eletech shell housing that’s made of the same Aluminum Alloy used in the termination housing. It’s specific chromed texture and shaping has been refined multiple times to achieve perfect ergonomics, and Eletech’s logo is engraved in similar fashion as the termination housing.

Eletech has done it again

I have dipped my toe into the iem game the last few years and found myself ingulfed into the hobby. Eletech quickly came into my radar as a no nonsense cable company spawning from effect audio. I have purchased a Raphael for my Noble zkublsi Khan and it is a match made in heaven. If you don't believe in cables and sound changes at the very least the feel of this cable is very premium. The sound is excellent. I feel like the mids are natural. Highs are tamed and sparkly with the Piezo super tweeter. Bass is thumpy and very articulate. I couldn't ask for more from a cable sub 1k. I cannot afford the more expensive Eletech options... but if I could I would get them in a heartbeat.

Defdefinitely A Great Cable

I have Kann Max connected to my AK zero 2. However, this combination gives noise that I have to use an impedence plug to reduce that, which would influence the sound to some extent.
Luckily, I noticed someone use this cable connected to zero 2 and I decided to give a try. This works! The sound is so clear I will strongly try this cable out. It will not let you disappionted.

Perfect Match with the Empire Odins

I recently got my hands on a second-handed Odin with no cable included, so I began a journey on searching for the right cable for it.

Originally I paired it with one of the custom copper cables from a studio. The transparency and sense of space really stands out for me, and that was the start.

After trying out multiple materials cable I got more understandings on Odins strength and weakness. Odin has two major flawed part (imo) which one of them is the lack of sub bass (maybe it's not called sub bass Im not very sure). Don't get me wrong, Odin has one of the if not the best bass from all iem I heard, it just lack a little bit touch to create a warm and attracting atmosphere. It is the primary reason that Odin sounds fatigue to many.

The second flaw is the lack of warmth in vocals. Sometimes making Odin a little bit dry to my ears. Therefore when looking for cables, I want something that can boost the bass just by a little, and adjust the tone of the vocals.

Didn't expect this cable by a lot. In fact it has significantly smaller radius (25.5awg compared to 19awg) then my og cables. Nevertheless, when the moment I put it on, it suprise me by far. The lacking part of the bass is filled perfectly without being excess, and the vocal did tune towards the direction I want. Overall, my Odin was tuned into a direction that sounds much less fatigue, while maintaining the huge soundstage and incredible details.

There is compensation towards this adjustment as well. The treble of Odin had also turned less crispy, but still smooth as it was. The transparency gets downgraded by a little too, but in return Odin sounds more coherent as well.

Nevertheless, I am still extremely satisfy with this cable, there will almost always be compensation if one try to tune an earphone in specific direction. The only factor that you will need to consider is what type of sound you like and enjoy the most. And this cable suit my taste really well.
