Ucotech's RE-1 Pro is small in size but big in build quality. The shells are made from 5-axis CNC machined brass with a black theme and gold finishings for a premium fit and finish.
Under the hood is a 10mm carbon nanotube driver famous for fast and full sound commonly found in mid range IEMs. These are easily driven from any source, albeit we had the best experience with lower end, non-flagship DAPs and DACs like the iBasso DX170 and Questyle M12. It's also important to note that like other universal IEMs, the experience is best with properly fitted tips with a solid seal and particularly so in this case (we used SpinFit W1s.)
The RE-1 Pro really demonstrates superb sound and remarkable performance at an extremely affordable price. It displays good tone and presentation, great separation and timbre, and a wider soundstage than you'd think. But don't take our word for it - give it a try!

Ucotech has been around since 2007 and are known for their amazing earbuds and earphones that are made with passion in Korea. They are known to make quality products, specifically masterfully tuned earphones that are solid built with a well-thought out design.
RE-1 Pro is reference tuned with detail and some fun bass punch thrown in. It has natural timbre and physical impact you’d expect from a single Dynamic IEM.
The IEM itself has a brass housing with a solid and surprisingly weighty feel for its size. No issues with getting a tight fit and good seal with the provided tips. The cable is silver-plated copper with a 3.5mm tip, and the kit includes a hardshell, cloth-type case.
From the sound, to the build quality and included accessories, RE-1 Pro is impressive and seems competitive against IEMs way more expensive, even at their entry level.
