EOS (EverSolo Original-Sampling-Rate Audio Engine) was developed by in-house engineers and enables bit-perfect audio playback that bypasses any Android OS restrictions on which EOS is built.

AKM AK4499EX/AK419EQ Digital-analog Separation DAC Solution
The Velvet Sound | Verita line offers forward-thinking products with world class performance. Rooted in the concept of "perfect re-creation of the original sound," it is dedicated to providing continuous enhancement of audio technology and offereing listeners an immersive acoustic experience. DMP-A8 usess the same AK4499EX DAC and AK4191EQ digital signal processor that you'll find in the legendary Astell&Kern SP3000.

Dual High Precision Clocks
There are 2 ultra-low phase noise femtosecond high-precision clocks for audio decoding (45.1584MHz and 49.152MHz). This effectively suppresses jitter and ensures highly accurate conversion and decoding of digital-to-analog signals, providing ultra-high dynamic range and resolution for analog audio output and reproduces studio level detail.

R2R Volume Control Circuit
A fully balanced analog volume adjustment network, composed of precision resistors and relays achieves accurate volume control, effectively suppressing distortion and noise in the analog signal. It also features volume protection, automatically reducing excessive volume to the designated safe level during startup or input interface switching.

HDMI-IIS Output and HDMI ARC Input
DMP-A8 is outfitted with IIS output, and HDMI ARC (Audio Return Channel) input. IIS allows integration with DACs providing the highest level of ultra-pure digital communication. ARC enables seamless connection with TVs or Home Theater equipment to deliver the highest resolution sound to match your 4K or 8K video.

Rich Selection of Inputs and Outputs
DMP-A8 can connect to a variety of audio devices which a number of digital inputs and outputs. You get the classics like USB, Optical, and Coaxial, as well as newer standards like HDMI, Bluetooth, WiFi, and wired ethernet connections.

Fully Balanced Preamp Circuit
DMP-A8 analog circuit adopts fully balanced design from DAC chip to the XLR and RCA stereo output and provides better noise immunity and improves channel separation by eliminating shared loops for more consistent signal quality.

Handpicked Components
The sound quality of DMP-A8 analog output is monitor-level. The primary elements of the circuit are premium, including WIMA capacitors from Germany, NICHCON dedicated audio capacitors, Murata capacitors and Omron relays from Japan, and TI audio operational amplifiers from the USA.

Music Services Galore
The DMP-A8 incorporates popular music services like TIDAL, Qobuz, HIGHRESAUDIO, Amazon Music etc. You can take advantage of numerous high-quality online music services and revel in the allure of limitless streaming music along with support for numerous third party APPs for high resolution audio direct output using the original EOS engine. Wireless Music Streaming
Roon Ready, Tidal Connect, and DLNA are supported. High quality music can be streamed online to mobile devices on the same LAN, making it simpler to enjoy online music services and easier to play back music at home.

Effective Media Management
With its powerful system, you can seamlessly handle editing tasks for both local and network storage like copying, pasting, cutting, and deleting. The configurable USB OTG port adds a personal touch to connectivity, effortlessly bridging your PC and the DMP-A8 through a USB cable for hassle-free file copying and management. Sharing with other media playback devices, computers, or mobile devices on the LAN is seamless.

Smart Control App
Android + iPhone/iPad control apps are available for the DMP-A8. In addition to basic playback control and system settings, they support asynchronous viewing of music library data and menus. Screen mirroring is also supported by installing third-party App.
