Great copper cable here in the Azrael with some special sauce to the sound being nicely extended in the treble while also possessing an exceedingly non-fatiguing quality on the whole. There’s quite a bit of soft texturing to the mid bass area here adding to that cloud-like effect. Vocals are relaxed but present, and staging is very well-rounded. The design of the cable is simple with aesthetically pleasing accents and wears comfortably.
Considerig I spent over $800+ on my Schure IEM's, to spend another $200+ on an upgraded cable, I should get my ears examined.
This cable not only passed my examination, it set a new benchmark in delivering more than I expected. Actually I didn't know what to expect.
What I found is what I heard. Powering my IEM's through a Mojo 2 DAC and comparing my furnished Schure cable to this is like comparing an apple to a grape.
Let me explain...
The first thing you notice is that the soundstage is much bigger, as the apple is bigger than the grape. The highs and vocals are crisp as the grape lacks firmness and definition. The bass is robust and plentiful as the grape does not satisfy the appetite needed to fullfill
the subwoofer on the vine.
I've always been the kind of a guy that I have to see it to believe it.
In this case I heard it to believe it.
