ZiiGaat has collaborated with Vivir Digital to develop the RUMBA. Vivir Digital is one of Mexico’s most popular audiophile reviewers, with over 150,000 subscribers on Youtube. With years of experience in analyzing audio products, Vivir Digital has provided his expertise to tune the RUMBA into a FUN balanced and enjoyable IEM. 

Graphene Diaphragm

Among every material traditionally used for dynamic driver diaphragms, graphene is consistently classified as the best by acoustic engineers. Graphene is the thinnest and most lightweight while offering greater rigidity and strength, even compared to metal-based diaphragms. Thanks to its weight and rigidity, the diaphragm is significantly easier to drive. This translates into significantly greater responsiveness for faster transient speeds and higher clarity and resolution in the sound, with reduced distortions.

New Dynamic Driver Acoustics

The RUMBA’s dynamic driver features a new dual-cavity design, engineered to provide better control of airflow through the dynamic driver. The dual-cavity ensures more consistent pressure to enhance diaphragm responsiveness, while providing better control of the low frequencies. Engineered specifically for the RUMBA, the dual-cavity is tuned precisely to fit ZiiGaat’s target tonal signature. 

Engaging Tuning

The RUMBA is tuned with a new tuning strategy, aimed to provide a balanced, yet fun and engaging sound suitable for all audiences. The sub-bass is well-extended and features a powerful 10dB bass quantity. With a slow decay transition into the low-mids, the sound is rich and textured, characterized by warm mids that bring expression into vocal genres. To enhance clarity and air, the treble transition features a lively 2.8kHz pinna compensation to match the hearing perception of the human ear, and fitted with a slow decaying treble-extension that enhances details and the soundstage.
