Silence Simplified

A computer power supply’s USB bus is often sourced from an inadequately filtered switch-mode power supply that injects noise into connected equipment. This leads to data errors, loss, and jitter. Simply insert the iSilencer Max between your computer and DAC to effectively cancel out all incoming noise, leaving you with a cleaner, warmer and more transparent sound.

Military Precision

Inspired by military radar cancellation techniques, iFi's proprietary Active Noise Cancellation 3 technology duplicates incoming noise signals from the USB and inverts the polarity, effectively cancelling out incoming electromagnetic and radio interference. This technology means that measured noise drops by 100x (40dB) in comparison to the common noise filter.

Maximum Compatibility

The input of the iSilencer Max now supports up to 100W (20V/5A). This greatly expands the list of devices with which it is compatible and removes it from the confines of USB DAC Applications. Coupled with REBalance, the digital signal from your vast array of devices is cleaned up and identical to the original source, "rebalancing" the USB signal to address DC offset, jitter, distortion, and data packet errors. iSilencer Max also supports USB 3.0 high-speed data transfer.
