Steve Koatas of Bloom audio is a great guy with deep knowledge in Hi-Fi/Hi-Res music, DAP and headphones.
He just doesn't talk superficially. Steve himself is an audiophile and he knows what he talks.
Steve is very helpful , patient and carefully listen to his prospective customers requirements and then suggest options along with pros and cons.
I feel lucky to come across Steve and recommend Bloom audio without a pinch of hesitations for any audiophile need.
This beautiful DAP gives what it promises. It enhances all my available IEMs and headphones, the UI is slick and speedy and the Android side with Android 11 is more refined than my old FiiO M11.
Scanning of a 1TB card containing 850GB of files took only a few minutes on the Android side. The only issue I have is on the Mango OS side, the native player will only scan the internal drive and not the SD Card.
On the Android side Mango, Poweramp and other players have no issue with the scans but in Mango OS, no joy at all.
Exremely transparent and musical In stock form, it is above others of that price. The options of buying additional amp boards and modded boards is unique to this unit, and elevates it to TOTL level, without having to spend endless amounts of cash. I tried some others (n8ii, 3MaxSS&Ti, L&P6, AK200) so been around that "endless chasing", for the next best thing.
This is end game for me.
I have an 8k mostly Denafrips Home System, and this DX320 gets me more than half way there which is quite the statement. Huge powere, Huge Dynamics, very simple and effective EQ.. Outstanding Bluetooth connectivity and sound. I'd spen another $600 if you iBasso can widen the stage a little bit and work on imaging, otherwise I am a very happy camper. Super stylyish, and every amp module from tt - 13 have different sonics they can bring to the table. I'd place it above mid tier.. not quite god tier. This is the best value/quality at this price you'll ever find.
