For starters the MEGA5-EST Bass+ has quite a bit of bass but it blends in nicely with the MIDS and HIGHS. To my ears it really is not that bass heavy. The great thing is the IEMS can be adjusted to your liking by EQ. Also they are very comfortable and seal very well. I give them two thumbs UP!!!

I don’t think the bass was that bassy. Just a good set of iem’s. Of course I grew up around the funk of George Clinton, Parliament and the funkadelics, Bootsy, Jesse Johnson, etc. so if these are bassy, I see them as normal (in other words, I’m biased). They’re pleasant reproducers of the music. There’s no harshness or shouty-ness. The bass might be bringing that down, but I’m no expert. The bass guitar slaps, and you feel it as well as hear it. Flea pulls it off with his distinct style and these iems pull it out the music.
Their presentation is nice. The accessories are great, the fit is comfortable, the iem’s and cables are well made. I really wanted that pelican case, so I’ll have to buy the standard edition to get it (this edition doesn’t include that case). I want to compare the two iem’s to see for myself if it’s necessary to have both in my collection.
