Radon 6, from FiR Audio
The Radon 6 is a Limited Anniversary model, limited to 300 production units world-wild, celebrating 5 years in pursuit of the ultimate in-ear monitor listening experience.
Everything learned from the Frontier Series has been applied with a mindful retuning of the popular 6-driver model arriving at a leaner, reference warm sound signature. It features the proprietary technologies of the Frontier Series with Kinetic Bass, ATOM Venting, Open Acoustics, and Rigid Technologies.
The Rn6 is available in both Universal and Custom-fit models. The Universal-fit boasts a satin black machined aluminum body, gorgeous sapphire crystal glass faceplates, and a pure silver with copper shielding cable that's exclusively designed and built for the Radon 6.
Kinetic Bass
Kinetic Bass is a bass you can feel. Traditional IEMs often lack depth and feel because they only provide you with half the sound. Kinetic Bass technology features a 10mm dynamic driver that is open and optimally ported directly facing the outside of the IEM shell. This allows low frequency sound to be transmitted directly to the ear cartilage and surrounding area. These low frequencies are converted to kinetic energy and reach the inner ear via bone conduction resulting in a more immersive sound.
ATOM Venting
No more pressure. With a traditional in-ear, your ear canal is completely sealed with created air pressure which has no way to escape, causing fatigue in your ear drum and potentially long-term hearing loss.
With the ATOM system, your ear drums stay in their natural position so you can listen to music longer and safer without tiring. The soundstage is wider and feels more natural.
Open Acoustics
Traditional in-ear monitors use a driver with a sound tube that carries the sound to the canal stem. The tube introduces unwanted resonances and results in a closed-in sound. The Open Acoustics System consists of 3 major parts:
Open Drivers
Uses no sound tubes and radiates sound directly into the Sound Reactor for freely flowing sound and a much larger soundstage.
Sound Reactor
A chamber that shapes the sound received from the Open Drivers using natural acoustics instead of traditional dampers and filters.
Sound Reflector
Directs the high frequencies into the ear canal for remarkably smooth highs with great extension.
RIGID Technologies
Rigid 2-Pin
The most durable 2-Pin connection on the market, rated for 1,000 connections without issue. Features revolutionary quadrant socket design and fits any 2-pin standard.
Rigid Snap Screen
An acoustically transparent mesh screen that protects debris from entering the canal stem and is easily replaceable.
