True Diamond Diaphragm: Ultra-Low Distortion & Lightning-Fast Decay 
At the heart of the DX10000 CL is a newly developed 40mm dynamic driver featuring an ultra-rigid True Diamond diaphragm. Diamond is the ideal acoustic material: its extraordinary bending rigidity minimizes diaphragm deformation during operation, which directly contributes to the driver's ultra-low distortion characteristics and highly accurate reproduction. 

Furthermore, diamond possesses exceptional internal damping. This crucial property effectively suppresses unwanted residual vibrations, often referred to as ringing, after the input signal has stopped. The result is a highly accurate transient response characterized by a rapid attack and exquisitely clean decay, completely free from the coloration of lingering resonance. 

True Piston Motion
The magnetic circuit is driven by an industrial-grade N55 neodymium magnet and stabilized by an aluminum shorting ring, which significantly reduces nonlinear distortion even during large low-frequency excursions. To guarantee true piston motion, the driver utilizes a lightweight polyimide bobbin-integrated voice coil and a revolutionary free-floating lead wire structure. This preserves the mechanical symmetry of the moving assembly, ensuring the driving force is transmitted with absolute precision. 

Airtight, Resonance-Free Housing

Applying the design philosophy of high-end loudspeakers, the housing is precision-machined from an aluminum-magnesium alloy using advanced 5-axis CNC technology. It utilizes a unique 12-point through-bolt construction, eschewing adhesives entirely, to apply uniform clamping force across the assembly. This guarantees exceptional structural rigidity and highly stable airtightness. Internally, a dedicated damping system absorbs rear-wave reflections before they can return to the diaphragm, preserving the driver’s pure acoustic performance. 

Ultrasuede Earpads

To avoid the artificial "V-shaped" frequency response common in sealed headphones, the DX10000 CL features earpads crafted from premium Ultrasuede® and specially selected foam. This allows for precisely controlled air permeability, ensuring a smooth, naturally balanced sound signature and supreme long-term wearing comfort.
