Ultra-Thin Diaphragm

After two years of independent research and development, FiiO has created a leading-class 1um ultra-thin diaphragm. The difference between even a 2um and 1um diaphragm thickness results in noticeable performance differences. Exceptionally lightweight, the FT7's diaphragm responds with lightning-quick speed. It faithfully reproduces subtle sounds in the ultra-high frequency range and provides exceptional dynamic range.

Powerful Magnetic Architecture

Thanks to FiiO’s patented uniform magnetic field design, the FT7’s magnetic field is significantly expanded, enhancing the sensitivity of its large 106mm planar driver while also reducing overall driver weight for improved wearing comfort.

At the core of the FT7 is a dual-sided push-pull magnetic circuit system, utilizing a total of 18 high-performance N52 neodymium magnets (9 per side) with a powerful magnetic flux of up to 1.5T. This robust magnetic structure delivers ample energy reserves for lightning-fast transient response and deeply textured, controlled bass.

Proprietary Driver Technology

The FT7 employs FiiO's self-developed planar driver technology, a patented multi-layer coating system. The driver uses high-performance PET as the diaphragm substrate and selectively applies 24K gold and pure silver to create a multi-layer coated driver. Leveraging the advantages of both precious materials allows the FT7 to have highly detailed, charmingly rich sound.

Liquid Nitrogen Frozen High-Purity Cable

Crafted expressly for the FT7, this bespoke cable pairs over-6N OCC mono-crystalline copper with a week-long cryogenic nitrogen treatment that relieves internal stress, tightens crystal boundaries, and boosts conductivity for ultra-clean signal flow. A low-dielectric PFA insulator (ε = 2.1) preserves the copper’s resolution while subtly enriching mids and lows, adding just the right touch of warmth for an effortlessly engaging listen.

Comfort and Quality

The FiiO FT7 has a premium and exquisite build quality that gives the headphones a lovely visual appeal. It features a lightweight and robust carbon-fiber headband with a natural zebra wood grille. The FT7 includes two unique sets of ear pads for customized comfort: lambskin and suede ear pads. The headphone weighs 15oz, bringing you great sound with excellent comfort.

It' great headphone

It's a great headphone with wonderful details. When I used it with Fiio K11 (DAC) and ifi Zen CAN3 (AMP), I feel it has a good and flat sound, but is it really that good to have lots of positive reviews? However, when I matched with Fiio K9, which has a THX AAA788+ Amp, the FT7 changed to a totally new headphone. It starts playing more details of lots of instruments, and the sound becomes more alive, not just loud, but more dynamic. I saw lots of reviews that FT7 doesn't need lots of power to run, but I recommend using these headphones with a good headphone amp. It will show you the true performance of these headphones.
