Why Perseus?

PERSEUS marks the entry point into Effect Audio’s complete acoustic system, bringing together their expertise in both IEM and cable design. Developed as a unified package, every element, from its quad-brid driver architecture to its dedicated ORDINIS cable and full-metal housing, has been carefully selected and tuned to work as one coherent system.

Its design takes inspiration from the Harpe, the divine blade carried by Perseus in Greek mythology. The multi-angled aluminum faceplate carries that sense of precision into its form, while the rigid metal chamber provides a stable acoustic foundation for the 9-driver system within.

Effortless Power

Perseus introduces EA's first quad-bird driver architecture, integrating dual dynamic drivers, dual balanced armatures, four micro planar drivers, and a bone conduction unit into a single, cohesive system. The system is engineered for high efficiency, allowing it to be driven with ease across a wide range of portable sources without loss of control or dynamic capability.

Kinectic² Isobaric Dynamic Drivers
PERSEUS features a dual isobaric push-pull dynamic driver chamber, designed to maximize efficiency within the acoustic system. It allows the bass to extend deeper with greater authority, delivering weight and impact without sacrificing precision.

Sonion 2300 Balanced Armatures
PERSEUS uses customized Sonion 2300 balanced armatures selected for tonal character and adaptability within a controlled acoustic system. Each unit is integrated with the crossover and cable architecture to shape a midrange with clarity, density, and emotional expression.

Isoplanar Quad System
PERSEUS uses four new-age micro planar drivers instead of ESTs or traditional balanced armatures. By distributing the workload across ultra-light diaphragms, treble reproduction becomes cleaner, more resolving, and effortlessly extended.

PTZ Bone Conduction Driver
A PTZ bone conduction driver works with PERSEUS’ rigid aluminum housing to reinforce spatial definition and presence. By using the metal chamber as a stable acoustic foundation, it helps preserve vibration energy, strengthen imaging cues, and create a more natural sense of dimension.

Alive in Every Detail

PERSEUS reveals detail through control, coherence, and spatial precision, not exaggerated brightness. The bass provides deep extension with firm control and textured impact. The midrange carries natural note weight with clear, expressive vocals. The extended treble is clean and fine in detail.

ORDINIS Custom Cable

ORDINIS is developed specifically for PERSEUS as part of its acoustic architecture, not as a separate upgrade cable. Its conductor mix combines Gold-Plated Silver, UP-OCC Pure Silver, Custom Silver-Copper Alloy, and EA geometric Copper conductors, allowing the cable to support different parts of the frequency response with greater control. 

By integrating ORDINIS with PERSEUS from the tuning stage, the cable helps maintain bass control, midrange coherence, treble extension, and overall efficiency across the quad-brid driver system.
