DN242 adopts an advanced five-way physical and electronic crossover system which delivers precise, accurate sound with seamless coordination between the drivers. Next-Generation Driver Configuration 

The DN242 packs an advanced eight-driver tribrid configuration with two dynamic drivers, four balanced armature drivers, and two planar drivers. DUNU has a history of developing multi-driver hybrid IEMs with great precision and quality, for the DN242, they have developed an advanced five-way electronic+physical crossover system. 

Five-Way Dual-Type Crossover

In order to get the best out of the each driver implemented, the DN242 has an advanced five-way frequency crossover system. It is a dual-type setup featuring independent acoustic ducts as well as a precise electronic crossover circuit.

The 10mm dynamic driver is designed to deliver rumbling sub-bass and the 8mm dynamic driver delivers a punchy mid-bass region. There are dual customized Knowles balanced armature drivers for midrange, dual custom balanced armature drivers for highs, and two customized micro-planar drivers for the ultra-high-frequency. With eight drivers, three types of technologies, and a precise crossover system, it’s an acoustic marvel that promises top-quality sound to its users.

Beautiful and Ergonomic Shell

DUNU has joined hands with leading 3D printing solution provider HeyGears. The complex acoustic chamber, the ergonomic ear shells are both crafted using high-precision 3D printing process. They are designed to ensure super comfortable wearing experience with no air pressure buildup issues. The DN242 is crafted with design inspired by Nezha’s fiery spirit.
