This wasn’t a planned purchase. I had a ton of store credit and was just trying to use it and added this to my cart. I don’t know why really. I’ve no need for a portable at all. But nonetheless I have it so I’ve used it and I appreciate subjectivity. Roon recognized it as a DAC so it can be used as an endpoint if needed. This sounds great and best of all it has excellent connectivity. I love that it has an XLR and 1/4” output. It has 2.5mm but not 4. For being more studio than audiophile, it does feel a little “cheap” to me (very light weight, feels fragile). I may have use for this someday, and if I do, I believe I have a good portable to accompany my DAPs.
