The Vento 81 is a sleek floor-standing speaker designed to meet high-end standards: Inspired by the Italian word “vento” for wind, it combines an advanced bow-shaped design with gently tapering, rounded surfaces to create a modern, elegant appearance. The design appears light yet confident and blends harmoniously into a wide variety of living spaces.

At the heart of the Vento 81 lies the newly developed square high-frequency waveguide, a defining element of its acoustic design. It ensures uniform, controlled dispersion of high frequencies, resulting in precise sound localization, stable imaging, and a soundstage that unfolds broadly and naturally throughout the room. Vocals are clearly in focus, instruments are cleanly defined, and remain distinct and easy to follow even in complex passages.

The new Transmission front plate combines the proven circular high-frequency system with a modern, square-shaped outer contour. Inspired by premium watch design, it creates an exciting interplay between clean geometry and soft curves. The rounded edges of the front plate perfectly match the radii of the cabinet, blending harmoniously into the overall design.

Inside, the Vento 81 features a carefully designed chamber system that separates the different frequency ranges. The asymmetrical midrange chamber creates ideal conditions for clean, low-coloration reproduction, while the internal layout helps reduce standing waves.

Comprehensive Interior Isolation
Precisely tuned internal damping helps control unwanted reflections inside the cabinet. It ensures that energy is not reflected back uncontrollably, but instead effectively absorbed.

Curved Multi-Layer Cabinet
The curved multi-layer MDF construction of the Vento 81 combines high stability with effective resonance control. Its layered structure reduces cabinet vibrations across a wide frequency range and minimizes unwanted resonances.

Clean and Cohesive Sound

The Vento 81’s midrange and tweeter system is designed for maximum clarity and homogeneity. The midrange employs an ATB (Aluminum Titanium Black) system, which functions as an ideal piston driver and enables precise, natural reproduction. The high frequencies are handled by a high-quality BC (Black Ceramic) tweeter that reproduces the finest details cleanly and with minimal distortion.

The low-frequency system of the Vento 81 is designed for deep, controlled bass and precise transient response. Powerful woofers with ATB diaphragms operate within an optimally tuned enclosure volume to create a stable and clearly structured bass foundation.

The downfire bass reflex system uses floor proximity for highly efficient radiation. Low-frequency energy is maximized, while unwanted higher-frequency components are effectively reduced.
