This super charger is definitely not some subjective audiophile situation. It makes a difference and I'd say a major positive one.
If you're an Arya owner grab the soloist and the 3a supercharger.
It's god force
As always AAA+++ from Bloom. Best in the business.
One word. Wow! Definately noticed a smoother overall sound but dont worry I does not add warmth, the details are still there on my Soloist 3XP, just a noticeable level up in dynamics, especially with power hungry cans. Worth the admission. Endgame amp for me with this upgrade and ability to opamp roll.
I'll be honest, I wasn't expecting a whole lot out if the supercharger but I was proven wrong! When listening to my soloist 3xp with the supercharger for the first time I must say I was very surprised. It made an already great Amp that much better and the change was immediately noticed. The first thing I noticed that the supercharger did was smooth out the entire frequency responsible. You will also get better dynamics and a blacker background which seems to bring in more details in my music. The supercharger doesn't completely change your Amp or dac but it does refine it. I highly suggest the supercharger with any Burson products.
Appears to be very well made and durable everything is solid in it's build. The price of admission seems very high for what is given back in performance which I would see coming in around no more then 10% in improving the character of of the sound.
I'm using this new power supply with my Burson Soloist 3X headphone amp. This upgrade takes the Soloist to a significantly higher level of performance. The sound is smoother and more refined with no loss of detail.
