Driver Design

Asteria is the embodiment of audio artistry, featuring cutting-edge innovation. At its core lies a 10mm bespoke dynamic driver with high magnetic flux and BalanceFlow double venting technology, delivering powerful yet controlled low-end response. 

Complementing this is a symphony of twelve next-generation, ultra low-distortion Knowles balanced armature drivers—each orchestrated through 7th Acoustics' proprietary Extreme Xover Performance (EXP) crossover system to ensure perfect coherency and acoustic balance across the spectrum.

Drawing inspiration from horn-loaded speakers, Enhanced Clarity Horn Outlet (ECHO) technology elevates treble performance, offering crisp, lifelike detail and spatial brilliance in the upper registers.

Extreme Xover Performance

EXP is 7th Acoustics' in-house proprietary crossover technology, featuring a true
higher-order crossover design to ensure perfect coherency and seamless transition between various drivers with minimum cancellation and phase mismatch. Each group of drivers is tuned meticulously to match their phase with the previous and next group of drivers. Utilizing the highest quality capacitors and resistors, EXP ensures a very low distortion and high driving efficiency without compromise. 

BalanceFlow Vent

BalanceFlow is 7th Acoustics' proprietary approach to regulate the pressure waves generated by the dynamic driver to maximize dynamics while keeping extremely low distortion levels. The dual ports deliver superb technical performance while avoiding common pitfalls such as driver flex and pressure build-up while worn. BalanceFlow adapts dynamically to the demands of the music track, giving a detailed texture, powerful punch, and yet maintaining a tight control over the driver. 

Enhanced Clarity Horn Outlet

ECHO is 7th Acoustics treble acoustic technology to control and push the supertweeter capabilities to its absolute limit. Unlike a conventional acoustic tube, ECHO mimics horn loudspeakers to enhance the efficiency of the driver, especially in the higher frequency ranges. This allows the treble region to be more crisp and well-extended without sounding unnatural or shrill.

Elegant Faceplate

Housed in a medical-grade resin shell with CNC-machined 7075 aluminum and finished with a luxurious gold ceramic coating, Asteria is as stunning as it is sonically advanced. Its faceplate, inlaid with an iridescent Blue Morpho butterfly design, evokes a sense of elegance and mystique.

To complete the experience, Asteria comes paired with a bespoke reference-grade pure silver cable from Astral Acoustics, tuned exclusively to unlock its full sonic potential.
