Many audiophiles who prefer their music on-the-go use their phones, PCs, or tablets as their source for audio content, connecting their DAC directly to the device. Even though the voltage and current are low, the role and quality of the cable are still important with noticeable improvements in sound quality when using better cables.

Double-Shielded Data Cable Structure

The shielded structure of the Nyx cable isn’t suitable for the data portion of the cable since the data cable includes common transmission of current along with the digital signal. The stability of the current transmission depends on the number and purity of the conductors while the stability of the digital signal requires high conductor purity, reasonable twist structure, and a shielded layer design.

For the Nyx series, ddHiFi developed a double shielded parallel structure to shield current and data transmission respectively. Visually distinguishable, the pure silver shielding outer layer provides power transmission while the mixed silver and black shielding outer layer provides data transmission.

It looked like good wire when I saw it on line at Bloom Audio. When I got it I was surprised at its design and quality of construction. Its design and construction reminded me of a USB I bought from an a high quality coustom shop. The signal and power are sent in separate bundles. I bought it for my Schiit Audio dongle. The c to c cable that came with it is acquit. The FiiO XQ 13 cable sounds great. This cable excellent. The price is well worth the improvement. Once bought, it can be used for other like DACs.

ddHiFi USB C to C Cable

ddHiFi makes some great cables. This is no exception. High quality materials and build for reasonable price.

Crisp, clean sound.

I’m always looking for ways to improve my studio and when I bought expensive new monitors my friend suggested this cable. Ever since it’s been nothing but smooth sound and the cable connects everything so quickly. Highly recommend.

Transparency

I never conceived a change so immediate and rock solid clarity is possible with just using a cable. I spent decades in the large industrial electrical industry decades. I know conductors matter, but this cable is shielded with advanced superior materials and the results are stunning! I initially used a larger USB C to USB C cable to connect my bluetooth dac on my Ibasso DX180 left me with a bit of a hiss when streaming Bluetooth Dac mode in Qobuz. Mind you, I paired them with $1,000 Active Speakers and it sounded much better than Bluetooth alone.

But when pairing this DIDI cable i was "flat out" AMAZED! It is the clearest sound I've heard.

Just buy it! It screams HI END!
