The Topping A900 is an ultra-flagship headphone amplifier designed for listeners who want massive power, sonic precision, and the satisfaction of fully-balanced, reference-level audio. With a six-channel T'ang-ku-la circuit, a true differential architecture, 151dB SNR, and a peak output of 22,000mW x2 @16Ω, the A900 delivers clean, powerful sound and remarkable control over any pair of headphones or monitors. 

T'ang-Ku-La Circuit

At the center of the A900 is the patented three-stage feedback T’ang-ku-la circuit. It uses six channels of fully differential amplification to maintain balance all the way from source to output. This design cuts circuit noise and high-frequency distortion while boosting reliability and lowering thermal noise. The result is greater dynamic range, cooler operation, and a sound that stays clean and controlled. 

Six Headphone Outputs

The A900 offers six physical headphone outputs, including 6.35mm single-ended, 4.4mm balanced, 4-pin XLR balanced, and dual 3-pin balanced. Premium connectors from Neutrik and Pentaconn ensure tight, reliable contact. You can configure outputs as independent or simultaneous, so you can test or monitor multiple headphones without swapping cables. 

Volume Control

Volume is handled by a fully-balanced relay-based system with 0.5dB steps and channel crosstalk as low as -153dB. That means every turn of the knob gives you precise control without drift or bleed; just smooth, predictable adjustments and beautifully separated channels.

Preamp Mode
Flip the A900 into dedicated preamp mode and use its balanced XLR outputs to feed a power amp or monitors. You get the same flagship-level performance with THD+N below 0.000055% and up to 60Vpp output. 

Clean Power
The A900’s power supply is physically isolated between digital and analog circuits. This keeps interference down and voltage steady, so your music stays the focus.

Full-Color Display
The A900’s 2-inch full-color display provides useful, at-a-glance info: real-time playback details, FFT spectrum, or a VU meter. You can choose from nine background colors and switch between display modes easily. On the right, three touch buttons and a responsive knob let you navigate and control settings quickly and easily.

Remote Control
The included remote is machined from a single block of aluminum and finished with sandblasting. It feels substantial, looks good, and gives you control at a distance.
