HODWS Architecture
Bass frequencies are handled by a custom-built system utilizing twin 10mm dynamic drivers, arranged in a horizontally-opposed configuration. This Horizontally-Opposed Dual Woofer System (HODWS) allows the two woofers to share their mechanical load, resulting in:
- Reduced stress in each diaphragm
- Improved bass linearity and control
- Improved power efficiency
- Stronger and tighter bass response
Ultimately ensuring realistic bass response out of a flat tuning, because "flat bass" shouldn't mean "no bass."
Sonion and Knowles BA Drivers
Midrange and high frequencies are reproduced by a carefully-constructed array of twin Sonion midrange drivers and a single Knowles supertweeter. Every driver is hand-selected to achieve our stringent tuning goals, and subsequently designed with the most efficient crossover network possible.
Durable and Sleek Housing
All of the Reference’s drivers are housed in a full aluminum metal shell, precision-machined using a 5-axis CNC process. The contoured pseudo-custom geometry provides:

Modular Cable
