FATfreq x Effect Audio: Quantum

Experience a new level of control and precision with Quantum, a high-performance in-ear monitor featuring Planar Driver Technology and detachable Noah modules, allowing fine-tuned customization of Basscannon™ technology for a tailored low-frequency response.

Quantum Precision: Expansive, Lifelike Sound

Quantum’s Planar Driver Technology delivers ultra-fast transients, precise imaging, and an expansive soundstage, creating a lifelike sense of depth and space that enhances musical immersion. The tuning ensures a natural midrange, extended treble response, and highly resolving presentation, making it ideal for those seeking accuracy, flexibility, and dynamic realism.

FATfreq's proprietary ResoFlow™ Acoustic System combines a precision-tuned resonator with a reverse exponential horn waveguide. This technology gradually guides high frequencies from the planar driver mouth through a carefully tapered acoustic pathway, ensuring a controlled and effortless treble presentation.

SuperStage Module

At the core of Quantum’s customizability lies the Noah Module System, an innovative modular tuning feature designed for versatile sound shaping. Included with Quantum is FATfreq's newly innovated SuperStage Noah Module, the same breakthrough acoustic module used in their flagship Grand Maestro.

Detailed, Bassy, with Slam

When I saw that FatFreq was releasing a planar, I acted in an unusual manner—and bought the introductory kit without so much as a frequency response published! I was not disappointed! I was betting they were applying their known skills at taming treble and boosting bass to this unit. I was correct. Though a planar (and I have some other brands) this baby has bass slam! It has sparkling and fast highs, excellent mids, and prodigious bass. You would never figure this was a plana…except for the fact that it is also highly resolving. The large spatial enhancing NOAH module actually works, giving it a massive sound stage. If you are a bass head, you will be happy. But even if not, you will be happy! This is now my main IEM, with the Monarch mk3, 64Audio u12T and even the Crimson available to me. It is that good! At this price it is a steal, sounds like a IEM priced well above $1,000. Thanks for carrying the brand, Bloom. The demand internationally is so high, it will be months to get one direct from Singapore. Very satisfied.

Exceptional build quality.

The FatFreq x Effect Audio: Quantum offers impressive sound quality and exceptional build quality, but with some comfort limitations for extended listening sessions. Great detail retrieval. Whether I’m listening to classical, rock, electronic, or jazz, the Quantum performs admirably across genres, making them a versatile daily driver. would like to see more documentation/instruction in the package. Specifically about the modules and the effect they achieve.
Recommended for: Audiophiles seeking detailed, bass-rich IEMs with premium build quality who listen in shorter sessions and value versatility across musical genres.
Consider alternatives if: Long-term comfort is your primary concern or you specifically need IEMs with longer nozzles for your ear anatomy.

Is it worth it?

The clarity, bass, and the Noah modules bring a lot to the table.

My favorite Noah module has to be their new soundstage to give me more of what I'm looking for when it comes to different genres. It is a very well rounded set that didn't disappoint in this blind buy.

Love the case and cable paring with these. I'm a big fan of Effect Audio with the quality of cable they make with how versatile they can be.

Yes, it is worth the price tag. You also won't have to worry about treble fatigue which is always a plus for me.
