10mm Planar Driver with FDT (Full Drive Tech)

Unlike traditional planar magnetic headphones, the Para series features an ultra-large 100mm diaphragm powered by Full Drive Technology. This innovative design evenly distributes driving circuits across the entire vibrating surface, all within a uniform magnetic field. The result is exceptionally low split-vibration, surpassing conventional planar performance and approaching the clarity and precision of electrostatic drivers.

N52 Magnet Array

The Para 2 planar headphones utilize an array of 36 oversized N52 neodymium strip magnets to generate a powerful, uniform magnetic field. Covering the entire diaphragm surface, the array is optimized through FEA (Finite Element Analysis) to maximize magnetic transmittance and ensure even, efficient energy distribution for consistent, high-fidelity performance.

Ultra-Thin Diaphragm with Stress Balance Tech

Para 2 features a newly developed 1.2μm ultra-thin diaphragm that delivers faster response, deeper bass, and greater detail retrieval. Highly elastic pure silver circuits are etched in a two-dimensional topological structure, minimizing their impact on surface tension—reducing split vibrations and enhancing diaphragm compliance.

To further optimize performance, TBT (Tension Balancing Technology) is employed to equalize surface stress across the diaphragm. This ensures low distortion even under demanding dynamics, offering a refined, high-fidelity experience, especially when paired with high-end sources.

Integrated Unit Cavity Structure

Carrying forward the design legacy of the Moondrop Venus, the Para 2 reimagines the integrated unit cavity with substantial upgrades in both structure and materials. At its core lies a space-stacked driver system featuring a large magnetic circuit that delivers a uniform field across the entire surface of the oversized FDT diaphragm.

Following extensive mechanical simulations, the original aluminum alloy frame was replaced with a lightweight, high-strength industrial-grade polymer. This optimized structure maintains the load-bearing capacity required for the magnetic circuit while significantly reducing overall weight—enhancing comfort without compromising performance.

Scientific Tuning and Natural Timbre

Through advanced engineering and precise tuning by Moondrop’s expert team, Para 2 achieves exceptional acoustic performance with rich texture and musicality. Designed to align with VDSF’s smooth, wide-band frequency response, Para 2 features a thinner suspension system that enables an open, natural soundstage. Its effortlessly extended treble highlights superb resolution and speed, delivering lifelike timbre and a deeply engaging listening experience.

6N Purity Single Crystal Copper Cable

The Para 2 ships with a premium 4.4mm balanced cable made of high-quality, single-crystal copper with 6N purity. Featuring a quad-core parallel-arranged configuration, this design minimizes interference to ensure uncompromising signal transmission quality.
