Brand-new Ceramic-coated Spherical Dome Composite Diaphragm

Aria2 uses a newly developed TiN ceramic coated dome composite diaphragm developed by Moondrop. The two-step processing of three materials achieves a smooth treble response, surpassing that of a metal-coated diaphragm, and ultra-low distortion performance that is lower than that of other crystalline coated diaphragms.

Replaceable Acoustic Nozzle

Aria2 incorporates a new generation of replaceable acoustic filters. The front end of the brass nozzle consists of a removable tip, allowing users to replace the filter quickly and conveniently.

Aria2 users a univeral 0.78mm interchangeable cable, allowing users to replace the cable for different usage scenarios. Great All Around Sounding IEM

I like all kinds of music: classical, country, jazz, pop, EDM, so I was looking for a versatile, budget-friendly set that doesn’t have an overly opinionated tuning. The Moondrop Aria 2 fits that bill nicely.

I’d describe the sound as warm and natural, with a very musical, slightly V-shaped tuning. The bass is present and punchy—definitely enough for me, but probably won’t satisfy hardcore bassheads. The soundstage is solid, though not exceptionally wide. Both male and female vocals stand out distinctly. Instruments sound full and lifelike, and overall, the separation is above average.

Unboxing the Aria 2 felt very polished—and even a bit “Apple-like.” The IEMs themselves are beautiful: full metal shells with subtle brass accents and brass nozzles. The cable is a knockout—silver-plated, braided, and built like a tank. Definitely one of the better stock cables I’ve seen at this price. It also comes with both 3.5mm and 4.4mm adapters, and a pretty nice faux-leather case that feels fairly durable.

If I had one complaint out of the box, it would be the ear tips. They’re a bit underwhelming compared to other Moondrop sets or even competitors. I would’ve loved to see something like Spring Tips or even some foam options included, but that’s a minor gripe.

The fit was great for me with the medium tips. The shape worked well with my ears, and I was able to get a solid seal and good isolation. Some people might find the weight of the IEMs and cable a bit fatiguing over long sessions, but sitting at my desk, they’re totally fine for me.

Overall, the Aria 2 is a great set of IEMs if you're looking for an enjoyable, well-rounded listening experience across genres. They punch above their price and just feel premium in both sound and build.
