I really wanted to like these! I did like the bass! but the treble was painful along with the fit...maybe it is just me! :( Unfortunately I had to return these. I own and love Campfire Audio Andromeda, CA Solaris & Solaris Stellar Horizon, Meze Advar, Noble Spartacus, and many more, all of which I love. I was looking for something different and fun! I think I'm gonna try 64Audio U4s next. Fingers crossed!!!!
First and foremost, the customer service at Bloom Audio is unparalleled! Caleb and Matthew are amazing, and I sincerely appreciate all of the help they provided!
Now that that is finished, what is there to say? After searching for my own personal "end-game" IEM for many months trying various price ranges, drivers, cables, ear tips, etc. I was fortunate enough to land on the Prismatica.
At first listen, I knew it was something special. The sheer openness, dynamics, overall tonality, fit, and fun signature it presents are phenomenal! The bass is weighty and present, instruments are properly presented and separated in the mix, vocals, be they male or female, are reproduced incredibly naturally, and the treble has impressive sparkle without fatigue.
The two contenders within this price range I was comparing against were Oriolus Szalayi and Flipears Aether. Both of these are unique in their regard: Oriolus was bass-forward and presented wonderful dynamics but only at louder volumes. the Aether was great but the bass felt lacking and the mids were odd for my tastes.
The packaging is the most premium I have seen, as well! The box they come in is high quality, the case is dope, the cable is wonderful and 4.4mm, the included ear tips are silicone and foam which is great, and you get a metallic silver plate with your serial number!
All in all, it is an incredible package for an incredibly built IEM! Solid all around! I'm very happy that I will be using these for many years to come!
