If I really like headphones, I usually buy a spare set of headphone earpads for them. It took awhile for Hedd to get these for the D1 stateside. The D1's popularity is great and I think the elves in Berlin had a hard time keeping up! The earpads for he D1 are first class, easy to install and soft and comfy. The only issue is the cost, seems like earads are just getting up there in cost. Hope this will be adressed in the future!
