I mainly listen to EDM bass music like trap, dubstep, leftfield and grime as well as hip-hop/rap. So obviously bass is a key element to all of those genres and these deuces provide very well. The last IEM's I bought were some of the Thieaudio Hype 4's and they have a very nice sound too but these deuces kill them in the bass department and still manage to have a very clean sound that doesnt drown out everything with the bass. The included accessories are very nice as well. The included bass impedance adapter does sound great but it isn't necessary. They fit in my ears perfectly and are super comfy straight out of the box. I'm very very thoroughly impressed with and enjoy just about everything with these IEM's and for the price these things are a no brainer if you like bass.
The Deuce is simply the most fun IEM I’ve ever heard. The deuce manages to keep great separation between the subwoofer driver and the full range driver, so the bass never bleeds into the mids and vice versa.
Technicality such as imaging, detail, soundstage, tambre are all acceptable at the price these are at. Just don’t expect to be blown away in these regards.
I’m only taking a point off as the beautiful cable it comes with has already started fraying which is purely cosmetic but definitely not desirable. Lastly, the cable is incredibly microphonic so I only use the included cable when I’m stationery. If I want to be in on-the-go I use other cables.
I'll start off by saying the stock cable is one if not THE most comfortable and nicest stock cable I've seen. At first I was worried about the fit because the barrels are MASSIVE but I found workaround tips for that and they fit perfectly. The bass is phenomenal and it doesn't muddy the clarity at all, you can really hear every detail and the music immerses you while wearing them. The only con is the case, I doesn't fit the IEMs so I'm assuming it's for the added cable accessory. Other than that they're perfect.
The sound its good but if you EQ them, they sound even more awesome
Pleasantly surprised with how Fatfreq was able to create such an amazing IEM with deep bass rumble and yet a nearly perfect mid and high resolution. Fantastic IEM, I feel like I'm listening to my library for the first time again.
