Our Take
With the DXII, Noble gives us an aggressive single driver dynamic IEM. There’s a clear emphasis in the bass, with a ton of impact in the low end, but the bass is well-articulated and has good dimension in addition to being strong and physical. The overall tuning is somewhat W-shaped, with strong bass emphasis, moderate presence in the mids, and a bit of extra presence in the highs to preserve the snap and sizzle in the drums.

The DXII features a 12mm single dynamic driver with a gold plated brass chassis. It has a “W” sound signature with thunderous bass, smooth mids and surprisingly detailed highs. The 3d printed shell with red carbon glass faceplate is a stunning combination. Noble’s 8 Core cable with a 3.5mm termination comes standard with the DXII.

Good. Not great. Should have better highs for $600

I own the Noble TUX 5 ( which are amazing ) and wanted these for travel with use of an iPhone with a Audioquest Dragonfly Cobalt streaming Quobuz. I wish they were a bit more open and the highs had better sparkle. I wouldn’t consider them “ dark” but just not “open” enough sounding. Bass is great but I could and would sacrifice 25-30% of it for better soundstage and revealing highs.
Still not sure if if keeping them or selling them off.
