How Many Drivers?!

The AA24 uses a large number of specially customized, non-standard components, all working together through a highly intentional design. With this approach, all 24 balanced armature drivers are unified into a cohesive system, delivering the kind of density, resolution, spatial layering, and dynamic range that only a multi-driver architecture can achieve.

16 BA Subwoofer

At the foundation of this system is the innovative Superwoofer module, which organizes the 16 bass drivers into eight paired groups. These are arranged along the acoustic path in a structured sequence with controlled, incremental delays.

This not only improves low-frequency timing and dispersion, but also helps create a more lifelike sense of space. The result is a bass presentation with a deep, richly textured background and a mid-bass that feels both dense and punchy.

Mid-High Balanced Armature Drivers

In the mid-to-high frequencies, four aluminum-magnesium alloy diaphragm drivers are used to maintain high density and clarity while avoiding the coupling issues that can arise when stacking multiple midrange units.

The lightweight diaphragm material enables faster transient response and a wider usable bandwidth compared to traditional aluminum designs. Each driver is further supported by a precisely engineered 3D-printed acoustic channel, ensuring each frequency band is directed and controlled as intended.

Upper Treble Balanced Armature Drivers

For the upper treble, four custom aluminum-magnesium diaphragm drivers are paired with specially designed damping suspensions to achieve quick response and strong control. These are integrated with finely tuned 3D-printed acoustic pathways that help minimize phase interference in the highest frequencies, resulting in treble that is smooth, detailed, and well-resolved without harshness.

Cable Design

The included cable was chosen after extensive user testing and internal evaluation, prioritizing both performance and reliability. It uses a hybrid construction of 19 cores of high-purity single-crystal copper and 19 cores of pure silver, designed to deliver a clean, detailed, and well-balanced signal without the need for immediate aftermarket upgrades. The cable is finished with a durable woven outer jacket, adding long-term durability and a refined, premium feel in daily use.
