Development

The CrinEar Daybreak represents a milestone in high-fidelity audio design, meticulously tuned using the Brüel & Kjær Type 5128 ear simulator for cutting-edge accuracy. Developed through advanced acoustic research and refined through Crinacle’s years of tuning experience, the Daybreak achieves uncompromising tonal balance alongside top-grade resolution. Designed for those who demand measurement-grade fidelity, without sacrificing musicality.

3D Printed Internals

Advanced 3D-printing techniques enables intricate internal acoustic pathways within the Daybreak, optimizing crossover separation and delivering precise, high-resolution performance across the frequency spectrum.

The Daybreak’s fully-filled resin shell offers both stunning visual clarity and enhanced structural integrity, combining a glass-like finish with superior crack resistance compared to traditional hollow-shell designs. 

Tuning

The CrinEar Daybreak is meticulously tuned to the IEF Preference 2025 curve: an evolution of the Population-Averaged Diffuse Field target that blends natural, speaker-like tonality with a dynamic and engaging low-end response.

At its core is a fully custom driver array:

• A custom-spec dynamic subwoofer delivers deep, controlled bass
• Custom-developed balanced armatures provide accurate, detailed mids
• Next-generation micro-planar tweeters ensure exceptional treble extension and clarity

Every component is purpose-built to achieve tonal perfection and immersive fidelity.

Compact, Ergonomic Shell

Despite its intricate internal architecture, the CrinEar Daybreak features a compact, pseudo-custom shell engineered for a secure, fatigue-free fit across a wide range of ear shapes.

The aluminium nozzle measures just a hair under 6mm at its widest point, striking the ideal balance between durability and comfort—perfect for extended listening sessions. 

SPC Modular Cable

Crafted with high-purity silver-plated copper, the Daybreak's 4-wire stock cable is optimized for low resistance and maximum conductivity, ensuring a clean and transparent signal path that preserves sonic detail and minimizes distortion.

Designed with flexibility in mind, it features an interchangeable termination system, allowing seamless switching between 3.5mm single-ended and 4.4mm balanced.
