TWELVE Ti

TWELVE Ti is exactly what the name suggests: U12t elevated through the use of an equally renowned element, titanium, for the shells, faceplates, and exclusive m20 apex modules. The strength, resilience, and bio-harmony of titanium, combined with the legendary sound of U12t, create the ultimate icon of timeless style and performance.

Ti-6AI-4V (Tc4) Titanium

Ti-6AI-4V (Grade 5) is the most widely used alpha-beta titanium alloy, comprising of ~90% Ti, 6% Aluminum, and 4% Vanadium. It offers exceptional strength-to-weight ratio, high corrosion resistance, and good bio-compatibility. Key applications include aerospace structural components, medical implants, high-performance racing parts, and now, audiophile grade earphones.

tia®

Tubeless In-Ear Audio (tia) is a patented IEM design methodology that aims to reduce unwanted resonance and distortion for a transparent and lifelike sound signature. The tia system is comprised of three major elements: open balanced armature tia drivers, the tia single-bore design, and tia acoustic chambers. U12t features two major elements of the tia system: the tia driver and the tia single-bore design.

apex®

Air Pressure Exchange (Apex) is a patented vent that releases air pressure in a sealed ear canal all while retaining standard IEM levels of isolation; enabling musicians and music enthusiasts to listen more comfortably for longer. This venting alleviates listener fatigue and allows for a much more realistic soundstage. Apex comes in three module variations for U12t: mX, m15 and m20.

LID®

Linear Impedance Design (LID) is a patented circuit that corrects the non-linear electrical resistance of the multiple driver-sets comprising this 12 driver IEM. Varying source amplifier output impedance in devices like smartphones, body packs, DAC/amps, and DAPs typically results in varying frequency response across them, depending on the increase of resistance. Restoring proper interaction with the source and preserving the desired sound signature enables a consistent reliable sound.

Shielded Cable

This dedicated cable, specially crafted for TWELVE Ti, completes the look for a head to toe titanium aesthetic. The four-core cross-braided cable is made from silver-plated, single-crystal copper (UP-OCC), offering outstanding noise shielding and transparent signal transmission. With a low impedance of just 0.29 ohms, it maximizes electrical efficiency.
