ACE 2.0 is an upgraded version of the Ace magic bracelet made with 8 strands of silver foil wire and alloy copper wire. Each wire has a diameter of up to 1mm, and is made up of 4 strands / 7 pieces of 0.2mm silver foil wire and 4 strands / 28 pieces of 0.05mm alloy copper wire. This combination provides excellent conductivity since multiple strands of silver foil wire braided together can reduce the skin effect of common round wire and improve transmission efficiency. The alloy copper wire in the cable provides a more realistic, transparent, and full sound performance compared to regular copper wire, with more detailed layers and sound stage enhancement for HiFi music.
Compared to the first generation, the upgraded ACE 2.0 cable has shown a significant improvement in overall sound quality, particularly in terms of sound texture. The sound is clearer and more solid, with a larger soundstage, and sounds more relaxed and natural. The high-frequency performance is natural, with a moderate proportion and brightness of instruments, and a solid texture. The mid-frequency and vocal positioning are closer, and the vocal imaging is quite realistic. The low frequency details are clear and have a sense of atmosphere. Overall, it is a more pure and high-quality cable.
ACE 2.0 adopts a modular plug design and is equipped with three termination types: 2.5mm balanced, 3.5mm single-ended, and 4.4mm balanced covering playback compatibility for most devices. Simply swap out the plug to accommodate your needs. The copper gold-plated plug effectively reduces oxidation at the interface, reduces resistance, and improves conductivity.
For the earphone side, both standard 0.78mm 2-pin and MMCX are available with smooth and durable insertion and removal.
The plugs are made of copper-gold plated material, while the plug kit and splitter are made of aluminum alloy. This alloy undergoes anodizing surface treatment which creates a dense, uniform, and corrosion-resistant oxide layer with surface hardness, improving its anti-wear performance and durability.
Cable is definitely better suited for my ears over the stock cable of my iem.
