PowerQuest 505

AudioQuest PowerQuest 505 is a high-performance power conditioner with 12 AC outlets (4 High-Current outlets for amplifiers and 8 Linear-Filtered outlets for source components), a 2m detachable AC power cable featuring ZERO-Tech and RF/ND-Tech, and 2RU rack ears for simple rack-mounting. Engineered with advanced power filtration, the PowerQuest 505 removes significantly more noise and distortion than typical power conditioners, helping your system perform at its best.

Detachable Power Cable

The detachable PQ-715 cable uses AudioQuest’s high-purity Semi-Solid Long-Grain Copper conductor metal in which strands are packed more tightly and never change position within the bundle, significantly reducing strand-interaction distortion. Long-Grain Copper further minimizes distortion caused by grain boundaries that exist within any metal conductor.

A fundamental aspect of AudioQuest's multifaceted Noise-Dissipation technology, Direction-Controlled Conductors ensure induced noise is dissipated and drained properly — away from the system’s vulnerable circuitry. AudioQuest’s ZERO-Tech ensures uncompressed current transfer and linearized noise-dissipation; RF/ND-Tech minimizes circuit misbehavior by canceling induced RF noise.

Level 2 Linear Noise-Dissipation
Compromises Differential-Mode filtering, which addresses asymmetrical noise already present on the utility line or backwashed via electronic appliances and components. In addition, Common-Mode filtering to address symmetrical noise, which is picked up by the AC line, Neutral, and Ground leads.

Non-Sacrificial Surge Protection
Accepts multiple transient power surges and spikes up to 6000V or 3000A (the maximum that can make it through a home or office electrical panel). Damage from electrical storms or power-line interruptions are virtually impossible. Set it and forget it.
