Audio-Technica is one of the oldest and best known manufacturers of Hi-Fi audio equipment. Founded in Tokyo, Japan in 1962, they originally manufactured phonograph cartridges. They created their first headphones in 1974, and have continued to develop industry leading audio equipment ever since.
