Aura combines VE’s pedigree along with A&K’s expertise to give you a visually and sonically stunning IEM and complete package that truly exudes luxury. The unboxing experience is top-shelf and includes plenty of leather accessories along with custom Effect Audio cables. Sonicially, Aura continues in the tradition of VE’s flagship Phonix with shells jam-packed with BA drivers tuned for warmth and resolution. However AURA throws in two dynamic drivers which combine to deliver fast, focused and fun bass that leaves out the exaggeration and bloat. We LOVE the low frequencies in the AURA, can’t stress it enough. The mids and highs are balanced with crystalline, intimate vocals and jive well with beautiful bass. But the real magic with AURA is in the wide, three-dimensional soundstage and weighty imaging that combine with natural timbre. AURA just emits technical and musical mastery and showcases the incredible engineering prowess of both A&K and Vision Ears. x2 8mm Al-Mg Low Dynamic Drivers [Lows]
The 8-mm isobaric dynamic drivers offer powerful output and precise sound. Two 8mm dynamic drivers handle the low and mid-low frequency ranges, offering tighter, more precise and better-tuned bass.
x8 Balanced Armature Drivers: x2 Sets of 4 [Mids]
AURA comes with 4 specially selected mid-low BA drivers and 4 mid and mid-high BA drivers that combine to handle the mid to mid-high frequency range. The 8 carefully selected BA drivers work together to create precise mid-range sound and warm, emotional vocals.
1 Balanced Armature Super Tweeter [Highs]
A BA driver designed to maximize space and openness is utilized to create soft, delicate ultra-high frequency sounds that resonate richly in your ears.
Ultra-Precision Technology
5-Way Crossover
AURA uses a 5-way crossover with a circuit solution that avoids excessive load from the tweeter towards the source (amp), reducing distortion and extending HF reproduction. Internal wiring is made with premium silver-plated copper alloy.
(x2) Isobaric Dynamic Drivers
Two 8mm dynamic drivers are positioned facing each other in an isobaric config to maximize the compositional interference, double output volume, remove phasing issues from the tubes, and reduce THD.
Chamber
Internal chamber volume is precisely calibrated to achieve the best compromise between driver speed and musicality. The 2 DDs are strictly matched to reduce phase incoherence.
Mesh
AURA's open-structure design features a gleaming vacuum aluminum acoustic mesh which circulates air from the DD to control resonating force, shielding internal components from external influence.
