Rich Tube Quality

The AMP19 utilizes the sixth-generation Nutube 6P1 triode vacuum tube, which was developed jointly by Korg and Noritake. It brings the renowned sonic characteristics of traditional tubes to a portable player, delivering a warm, natural sound with emotionally engaging vocals. Compared to traditional tubes, Nutube retains the unique charm of tubes while being more suitable for long-term stable use in portable players.

One Amp Card, Two Choices

AMP19 is designed with two different output modes within its compact size. Whether you want to experience the unique tube character or try the high-density sound of Super Class A, AMP19 allows you to easily enjoy two distinct sound styles.

Tube Mode: Nutube 6P1 acts as the preamp tube, injecting harmonic richness into the sound. The tone is warmer, more relaxed, and natural; vocals and instruments have softer textures; overall, it provides a more analog feel with a charming glow.

Super Class A Mode: Utilizes 20 dual transistors to build a discrete component amplifier, which is capable of delivering up to 2A current output. The abundant current reserve offers powerful energy and dynamic performance, quick transient response, fuller sound, and excellent vocal density and texture.

12V DC External Power Supply

AMP19 adopts a 12V DC-IN external power technology, which has been awarded a national invention patent*. When connected to an external DC power source, the headphone amplifier power supply is boosted from ±6.5V to ±12V, reaching 2150mW + 2150mW @ 32Ω, which will easily drive all flagship headphones. Portable in form, but with the driving power comparable to desktop units.

100-step Fine Adjustment

In Tube mode, AMP19 uses JRC hardware volume control, which adjusts output volume via an analog method, ensuring that the DAC signal remains fully intact, avoiding digital volume attenuation and preserving audio fidelity. It effectively reduces output noise at low volumes, maintaining clear, detailed sound and full music layering even at low listening levels. The volume control provides 100 fine volume steps, allowing precise adjustment for high-sensitivity in-ear monitors or high-impedance headphones.

Manually Matched Vacuum Tubes

The Audio Precision APx555 is a high-performance audio analyzer renowned for high-precision, low-distortion testing capabilities. Each AMP19 is tested with the APx555 before shipment and calibrated and matched manually by engineers with four hardware implemented multi-turn potentiometers to ensure consistent Nutube 6P1 operation. This preserves the natural, delicate, layered sound of the tube while delivering authentic analog flavor.

Note: Using AMP19 requires updating the DX340 firmware to V1.08 or above.

PORON Suspension

After extensive experimentation, iBasso successfully adopted a "hanging" installation method using PORON material to suspend the tubes within the chassis. This innovative approach effectively achieves shock absorption while significantly suppressing microphonic effect.
