Campfire's new Andromeda Emerald Sea takes the basics of the classic Andromeda design and updates it with a slightly sleeker look and a somewhat surprising tuning. If the new Solaris Stellar Horizon takes the classic, balanced Solaris sound and pushes it a little further towards a reference tuning, Emerald Sea takes the classic Andromeda sound and goes the other way with it. Andromeda Emerald Sea emphasizes the bass, while pulling back the mids and top end a bit, creating a hard hitting, but slightly darker sound than Andro fans may expect.

Andromeda ‘Emerald Sea’ features an all-new machined aluminum shell in the classic Andromeda Green. Updated with a smaller shape and smooth contours, it’s the most comfortable Andromeda yet.

Best everyday IEM money can buy IMO

Joining the rest of a collection of flagship and myriad high-end IEM's, these new Andromedas have quickly become my new everyday/go-to staple - displacing the venerable and exceedingly rare Andromeda Gold. The Emerald Sea have clearly taken a step up in terms of overall sound quality - bringing the Andromeda up to a level where it is now much more directly comparable to IEM's like U12T, etc. Again, just my humble opinion - but for whatever it's worth - zero buyers remorse here. Couldn't be happier. I am using my set with an ALO Smokey Litz Lite cable (instead of any of the included 3 cables). I just find the Smokey Lite to be more comfortable and better looking, an overall better fit for a pair of IEM's I take with me everywhere.

Unbelievable

The Emerald Sea has entirely replaced my Andromeda 2020 as my favorite IEM. Highs are more extended, bass goes deeper and has more impact. Mids are creamy and resolving. I love these IEMs so much. It isn’t a huge leap above the Andromeda 2020, but an evolution worthy of the new packaging and title. They are simply lovely. And the cables are spectacular.

I was super excited to receive my Andromeda Emerald Sea from Bloom. And these earphones did not disappoint. These are an excellent continuation and evolution of the Andromeda 2020. Highs are ever so slightly more extended, the bass is slightly more pronounced and more extended. Plenty of energy and heft. And of course, there is the ruler flat, silly smooth midrange the Andromeda line boasts. I couldn’t be happier with the purchase. The new packaging enhances the experience beautifully. I love the leather pouch for carrying the IEMs in. And the cables provided are incredible. Everything and more than what you would expect from Campfire Audio. I have been listening to these non-stop since I received them and they are breaking in wonderfully, like a properly aerated fine wine. You will not regret your purchase of the Andromeda Emerald Sea.
