Bloom's Take We completely admit that at face value, it seems unlikely that such a small product with an incredibly small footprint could pack the kind of power and performance you'd want and need in your headphones or IEMs over a Bluetooth connection. We were wrong. The GO Blu by iFi is simply an incredible piece of technology for on-the-go listening for those times when convenience is king. It delivers amazing convenience and sacrifices very little fidelity for such an extremely tiny and portable device. Go Beyond
With its lightweight, soft-touch polymer enclosure, copper-colored trim, and ChronoDial, crown-style control, the GO blu is a pleasure to use.
iFi has incorporated a high-quality, chip-based (CMOS-MEMS) microphone, enabling hands-free calls, voice chat for gaming, and access to voice assistants such as Apple Siri and Google Assistant.
Further flexibility is provided by the USB-C charging port, which doubles as an audio input enabling USB connection with Hi-res PCM audio data up to 24-bit/96kHz supported.

Three Unique Stages: Bluetooth, DAC, and Amp
Uniquely for a device of this type and size, the GO blu’s clever design packs in separate Bluetooth, DAC and amp stages, each engineered in distinct blocks to deliver the ideal combination of cutting-edge specification and superb sound.
The Bluetooth stage supports every current high definition format and feeds the DAC stage with a Cirrus Logic 32-bit DAC chip. The amp circuitry benefits from symmetrical signal paths and utilizes iFi’s Direct Drive design concept to ensure a clean signal path without distortion. The amp stage delivers up to 5.6V handling even relatively tough headphone loads with ease with auto-gain adjusting output up/down by 6dB as needed.
