64 Audio Nio

Nio is 64 Audio's first high driver-count hybrid UIEM featuring a 9mm dynamic driver and 8 balanced armature drivers. The drivers and other patented components are housed in an ergonomic shell machined out of solid aluminum. Similar to some of their other unique faceplates, Nio is finished with a naturally sourced striking blue abalone faceplate making each pair truly unique.

Sound Signature

With a sound signature characterized by extended lows and a rich 3-dimensional soundstage, Nio’s smooth treble and natural warmth will provide hours of enjoyable listening for all genres of music. With the included variety of tips and apex modules you can take Nio from a saturated tube-like warmth all the way to a neutral reference monitor tonality.

Featured Technology

Tia
Tubeless In-Ear Audio (tia) is a patented IEM design methodology that aims to reduce unwanted resonance and distortion for a transparent and lifelike sound signature. The tia system is comprised of three major elements: open balanced armature tia drivers, the tia single-bore design, and tia acoustic chambers. Nio features two major elements of the tia system: the tia driver and the tia single-bore design.

Apex
Air Pressure Exchange (Apex) is a patented vent that releases air pressure in a sealed ear canal all while retaining standard IEM levels of isolation; enabling musicians and music enthusiasts to listen more comfortably for longer. This venting alleviates listener fatigue and allows for a much more realistic soundstage. Apex comes in three module variations for Nio: mX, m15 and m20.

LID
Linear Impedance Design (LID) is a patented circuit that corrects the non-linear electrical resistance of the multiple driver-sets comprising this 9 driver IEM. Varying source amplifier output impedance in devices like smartphones, body packs, DAC/amps, and DAPs typically results in varying frequency response across them, depending on the increase in resistance. Restoring proper interaction with the source and preserving the desired sound signature enables a consistent reliable sound.

Music to my ears!!

I had a couple other iem’s between $1000 and $1400, I was about ready to give up on the sound quality of iem’s, Either there wasn’t enough bass or the highs where pretty much unbearable, I ending up reading a lot of reviews on the Nio, I thought I would give it one more try, and my first impression was WOW, it had bass punch and the highs where sweet, Music became enjoyable again, there maybe better out there, but to me for the price it’s my end game, The only draw back is when I’m ready to call it a night I want to listen to one more song, if your able to purchase these you will not be disappointed. Later I added Audio 64’s premium silver cable and it took it to the next level.

Beautiful Sound in a beautiful package!

Don’t buy these earphones if you are only listening to rap music. 64audio Nio iems are the truth. The sound space is that of over ear headphones. I have been thoroughly impressed with the build quality, the highs, mids and lows. Try the Beatles’ Sgt. Pepper out on these bad boys to hear what I am talking about. The only iem that I have found to have a better sound stage is my voyager 14’s.
The only issue I have is that people that don’t have the means will not be able to enjoy these because the price point is high.
