Campfire Audio's Time Link Cable System offers a powerful, streamlined, premium solution to dynamic, portable HiFi setups. Easily switch your IEMs from 3.5mm & 4.4mm balanced connections, or plug in the high-performance USB-C Cirrus Logic DAC.
With six conductors of high-purity copper and silver-plated copper, Tine Link has smooth, detailed, and resolving sonic signature. Rounding out Time Link is its durable metal termination housings and Y-split/chin cinch, and soft, flexible jacket.
I needed a cable for my Monarch MK4. I'm fine with everything about the stock cable except it's very thick so rolling the iems up makes them very bulky for the small cases I prefer to use, for portability.
Campfire just started using two pin connectors so this was convenient. I wanted something with a similar makeup of the stock cable. So mostly copper with some silver plated copper.
This cable exudes quality. It's a nice tight weave, the colors are pleasing, the streaks of silver go with the Monarch 4 much better than the totally brown stock cable, and this cable rolls up nice and small considering what it consists of.
I probably will never use the built-in dap accessory, and I still feel this is worth it. I find a lot of the chi-fi cables to be extremely overpriced. I'm honestly not a fan of campfires pricing for a lot of IEMs. But this cable is as good as it gets at this price point from my few years in this hobby.
