Thieaudio Valhalla | 19 Driver Flagship IEMs

I recently purchased these and I can’t stop saying WOW! For some context, I owned the monarch mk3s before purchasing these ones. Just when I thought I couldn’t get any better, I decided to risk it and try the Valhallas and see what that price jump would really bring. For me I hear so much more detail to the point where it actually genuinely feels like the artist is in front of me when a song is well mixed. I’ve always heard people say for other IEMS that when they listen to a song, they’ve listened to many times, It sounds like a new song. I never experienced that before I used these. There were times when I was listening to a song I knew and was shocked to hear layers I never noticed in the vocals or in the instrumentation. I do like how the vocals are placed on this set (more upfront and in the middle of your head) but I do prefer the outwardness of the mk3. I feel those push the vocals out a little further but honestly if I didn’t have the mk3s I don’t think I would’ve noticed. Spatially speaking, everything is well spread out and it genuinely feels like you’re in a room, created by the music. With this set, you can easily tell where things are placed and the differentiation between them. I do feel on other IEMS, things kind of become too cluttered. With the Valhalla's it feels very open and all around you. The soundstage on them are perfect to me. It isn’t super exaggerated or super small to me. I also felt the bass on this was not super strong, but perfect for me and extremely defined. I heard textures I didn’t even know existed. As for the treble, I didn’t feel any fatigue after long listening sessions. The only fatigue I felt initially was a small amount of ear pain due to them being fairly large, but after about two days that went away and I can wear them comfortably now. Overall I would say if you have the funds for these, go for it and I doubt you will be disappointed. But if you don’t, any of thieaudio’s IEMS are well worth their money. I don’t think I will find another set better than this in the upcoming years so for me it was money well spent. More info: When using my iPhone for playback I use a cayin ru7. I do prefer to use these with my Ibasso DX340 DAP with the amp16 (tube amp). I do notice a small tiny bit of sound when I plug them into my dx340 but it’s not noticeable when the music is playing. I also never write reviews but I feel like this truly needed one because I needed a little bit of a push to buy these and the other reviews on here really helped me! I do not regret it!!

After a month going back & forth, I decided to pull the trigger & boy-oh-boy, it is amazing! The unboxing experience is long & premium! The headset quality is top notch! And the sound! The sound is clear & details! You can hear everything with this IEM!

The more I listen to the Valhalla the harder it gets to deny that it is objectively better then anything I've ever owned. I've used a lot of headphones and a few iems the Monarch mk2, the Focal utopia, DCA E3, he1000 etc they all have what I call hooks things that make them unique and interesting but also flaws. The Valhalla's only flaw in my subjective opinion is that it lacks a hook it sounds too much like other things I've listened to and yet I keep putting down my utopia for this iem not because it blew me away like my utopia but because it is so very good at everything it does. I've never listened to anything with such incredible range and impeccable detail so despite the fact that I find it to be a bit bland in its presentation compared to other iems and headphones in its price point I can't give it any less than five stars. It truly is the best all rounder I've ever listened too just don't expect it to reinvent the wheel.

This is my first ever IEM and it's nothing short of fantastic! They are incredibly balanced, nothing like I've ever heard before. The casing is beautiful in person, certainly worth it's price tag. Now pair these bad boys with either the IFI Go Pod or the Kensei Go Bar and it amplifies them to a whole new level. Absolutely incredible paring to only add how amazing they sound 10/10 must have!

Best IEM I have ever heard. Incredible detail and tuning, unbelievable clarity. I never heard Ed Sheeran, Lana del Rey and Billie Eilish with such purity and clarity. I also found that the instruments on the newer "playful” EDM sub genres to be dynamic and fun. An incredible iem
