Best audio product ive ever purchased. The sound is jaw droppingly incredible.
Very good IEMs IF you get memory foam ear tips that will fit it. I used Dekoni yet it took me a lot of effort to force them and only i carefully applied very little liquid soap to help with sliding them to the super wide nozzles i thing around 7mm wide. Out of the box with original silicon tips it sound like crap. No base. With memory foam it sounds really good! Although i use it with DAC iFi Go Kensei and that baby does the magic with xSpace option - that when FATfreq x HBB Deuce really opens up! Due to its tuning and massive 25dB sub base feels like mid base is on the low compared to sub base - with Kensei xSpace and K2HD option this EIMs sound sublime and truly enjoyable - and i am compared them to my Sennheiser IE900 that is 6 times higher in price.
The dongle adaptor that came with it is not necessary and kinda waste given its already massive sub base. I highly recommend manufacture instead concentrate on proper memory foam inserts - having them would significantly improve perception of this IEMs as i almost returned them back until i was able to figure out how to use third party foam inserts.
Carrying case is a joke - too small so perhaps u can get bigger one from third party - there are many good and cheep larger carrying cases.
Now more importantly - cable is solid but too microphonic - i will be buying another cable to replace original. Unless you change eartips it wont sound to its true potential. Cable replacement not necessary it is just nice to have - ear tips though MUST or it is compared to really good sport car with crappy low rated tires.
These took me back to when I got out of the Army and bought my first car. I had 2 Cerwin-Vega subwoofers in it and between the 87 Supra I bought in 92 and the quality sound system I had installed in it the car was a lot of fun. The Deuce IEM’s remind me of that car ! They really take me back there a lot of fun !
Really nice, tactile bass. The nozzle is absolutely massive though. Hurts if I have them in for too long.
Love the Fatfreq x DEUCE IEMs — they punch way above their size with clear, balanced sound and surprisingly strong bass. Comfortable for long listens and easy to rock whether I’m commuting or just chilling. Arguable on the value for how good they feel and sound, but I like them lol.
