Canton has redesigned the look and technology of their Vento premium speaker series. Thanks to the modern design with discreetly curved side panels, rounded cabinet edges, and high-quality surfaces with a perfect finish, the new Vento speakers have a very self-assured appearance. The harmoniously proportioned premium speakers offer a perfect balance between timeless elegance and powerful performance. This makes the Vento models universally applicable - they are an enrichment for the most diverse living spaces.
The flagship speaker in the series, the Vento 100, looks elegant and refined, despite its impressive cabinet size. Thanks to its excellent technical components, the large 3-way bass reflex floor-standing speaker inspires with its stupendous dynamics and makes the hearts of audiophile music fans beat faster. The Canton Vento 100 impresses with its incomparably good Canton sound, maximum durability, and finest workmanship.
Canton's flagship Vento 100 speakers are equipped with newly developed midrange and woofer range drivers. They are visibly distinctive and have an understated elegance due to their matte, shimmering titanium-graphite diaphragms of which give Canton's Vento speakers a noble appearance. They nestle seamlessly into the high-gloss lacquered baffles without any visible screw connections. The double-cone technology along with the wave surrounds ensure impressive dynamic capabilities.
The new driver technology is based on the previous titanium drivers: their surface is treated in a complex chemical process and acoustically brought to a new level. The aim was to minimize or completely eliminate the partial vibrations that damage the sound. With less weight, the new titanium-graphite chassis are stiffer and have better damping. Particularly impressive is the fact that these drivers do not exhibit any partial vibrations in the entire useful range and crossover range. In addition, the new drivers work as perfect piston transducers and thus offer ideal conditions for reproducing acoustic signals one-to-one, without losses.
Result: the speakers sound tremendously dynamic and wonderfully relaxed simultaneously.
The new cabinets not only look high quality, they also have to meet Canton's rigid technical requirements. The revised design ensures that more interior volume is available to tune the speakers with more bandwidth in the low frequency range. As a result, the new Vento speakers perform with even more contour and cleanliness. In addition, the sharp-edged cabinet radii, the modified base, and the new basic shape ensure less sound interference from the cabinet itself. The newly designed plinth makes the Vento 100 appear to "float", giving the stately floorstanding speaker a light and elegant appearance. In addition, the base design ensures that the speaker is particularly uncritical in its placement.
Thanks to the different cabinet finishes available, the modernly designed and timelessly elegant Vento loudspeaker models feel at home in many interior design styles while meeting the highest standards of workmanship and touch quality.
After much research decided on these Canton Vento 100 speakers and the natural walnut finish was a no brainer. These speakers are exactly what I looking for; ear catching detailed, iron fist in a velvet glove bass punch, and furniture grade beauty. Hours of listening with zero fatigue. Still love my Walsh Tower 2000’s, but these are a huge upgrade. All pro and zero cons.
